Thankful Thursday

It has been a while since I've actually posted my Thankful Thursday thoughts. I have to say again that I love this idea and appreciate Mia for the heads up. Whether or not I post my "thankfuls" each week, I rarely forget to take notes.

Today, as I was waking up, I suddenly was very aware of the air outside. It smells like Fall! And once again, I'm thankful that I live in a place where there are such distinct seasons (not that I wouldn't love an even, moderate climate). But Fall is an amazing thing. This season creeps up on me and startles me every single year. One day, it's summer. And the next day, there's a definite nip in the air that signals we're heading for warm, lovely days, and slumber-friendly cool nights. Where I live, much of the greenery is beginning to turn to brilliant yellows, oranges, and reds that in nature's combination are beyond exquisite. It's time to get in the car, drive the canyons and capture the beauty.
